No offense meant with the following comment. Who the hell cares about what soldiers think about US FP. Soldiers dont have a FP gene. At the start of a conflict they want to believe in what their govt says they are fighting for. Years later they may judge success and failures in a different way. Iraq is not WW2 where we were fighting for our very survival. With 30,000 casualties and if you factor out our great medical care perhaps the equivalent of 10,000 deaths or 20% of vietnam, it seems to me that our stay in iraq is now mirroring our stay in VN. So who wants to be the last casualty in a war we cant win?
