You're right Mike....because they require an increasing work force, which adds mightily to cost, and eventually suffers as the quality of the work declines, because the most recent worker hired is less well qualified than the one(s) before.

Heck, you see it in the PC retail business. How many sales clerks know as much as their buyers? Dell's model was a slam dunk, in part for this reason.
