There's suppose to be a tripling? of storage capacity, coming soon? i do know that NTAP is looking to launch 3TB appliances beginning in the April quarter, which more than doubles the current 1.4TB maximum. the folks over at Goldman are of the opinion that "6-8 terabyte systems [are] within reach." >6. New products: one of the analyst notes alluded to some new products or software enhancements to current products, when? i believe we can expect the Snap Mirror enhancement about the same time period. management indicates that this will be "a synchronous version of Snap Mirror that reduces the lag time between production data and the copy to almost zero, offering even greater protection to real-time applications." hope this helps, -chris.
