Hi Brian: Re> I don't know: Is their a web equivalent? Really?
Guess you have not been on IRC.. ( internet relay chat ) it's
larger than all of AOL put together. And it does all the things you
mentioned and more..can play fellow chaters music..send them files,
go into a privet room..were do you think AOL got it's ideas ?
Only thing in IRC I'm operating at 32 bit, nothing, nothing
at all you can do on AOL at 32 bit as it's a 16 bit operating system.
On AOL you must run a 16 bit winsock..that restricts you from using
32 bit software..some of the stuff on the internet you will not even,
be able to use in, if your tied to the AOL system..and what you
do get to comes on slow, as AOL acts like a proxy..and AOL users
do not have a true internet connection. So it's no wonder to me
you have not found IRC. When I service a computer and show people
the differance between real access and uing a proxy, the lights
come on, I have lost count of how many people I'v swiched over.
