Lizzie is a liar and complete failure.

Many years ago I heard there was this terrific agency: Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB).

This was "her baby" so to speak.

When Costco dropped AMEX several years ago many people went through hardships because of this - and I was one. There was a period of about 3-4 weeks when Costco was unable to offer a branded credit card.

So with the glaring praise Warren and the CFPB were getting I had high hopes and presented a very detailed explanation of the many problems I incurred - including nearly dying because all of my (very expensive) meds were at Costco and without an appropriate (NEW issue) Costco branded credit card I had no way of paying for them.

So I got the CFPB involved. It was not an easy process to navigate. I wrote a rather brief but very clear overview of the issues - it ran a bit less than 2 pages. But that was not satisfactory to CFPB and
AMEX. They kept asking for more...more...and much more. After all of that I had close to 50 pages and had expended over 50 hours.

In the final analysis AMEX "won" and I was screwed.

Thank you Lizzie and thank you AMEX. NOT!
