Welcome steve. Here are my thoughts, but don't hold me to my advice, I can't make predictions. There are more than half-a-dozen such funds open and several more in the pipeline. There are significant differences in style between these funds, so I'm not sure what you want to look for. Enterprise Internet Fund sticks with large caps, has a front load, though been on a tear partly because they have major access to IPOs. ING Internet Fund doing well lately. WWWFX struggling since Ryan Jacob left, for whatever reason. Munder NetNet more conservative and nearly $2.0 billion in assets. netnet.munder.com

Morningstar.com has just relased their rating for WWW Internet Fund (WWIFX) - webfund.com and Munder NetNet (MNNAX). You may be interested to note that WWIFX just got a 4-star rating and Munder their highest 5-star rating. WWWFX is due for a rating in another 2 months.

Guinness Flight Funds ISDEX fund is good for a relatively passive index. Only 1.35% expense ration. This is low by Net standards but E*Trade will be launching a Net fund index in a couple months, I think, with a ratio under 1%. Unified Select Net fund has a website (I can't find it at the moment) with their info, it is voluntarily capping fees (at least for now) at 0.35%.

I've been phasing out a full pullout of my $ from WWWFX over the last few months (and for the next month) over to Softbank and Janus Global Technology (JAGTX).

Steve, I notice you post to the boards @ NOVL, HLIT, and USIX. I've long followed the former 2 (really great companies). I'm long USIX (bought it 75% off its peak, though it lost a little more since then), though they'll be in the red for quite a while. Well, those are just my thoughts. More facts will be posted to my "Internet Fund Fan Club" Website on its next update, scheduled for 9/13/99.

To netconductor and all. I just discovered this thread and am interested in learning about Internet Funds to study
and those of course to avoid. All recomendations and sources of Internet Fund Rankings would be appreciated. I
am most interested in long term Fund whose performance I won't have to check and be concerned about integrity
and Fund Manager changes. I am looking at a 5 to 15 year time of holdings. Currently an active investor in stocks
but want to try the Internet Fund idea.
