Always knew it was all about oil. If WMD were the issue, we would have been attacking North Korea and sending money and people over to Russia and other former Soviet countries to try to account for their extenisive WMDs. Iraq has the 2nd biggest oil reserves in the world (possibly the biggest after all the unexplored areas are accounted for). That's a HUGE temption for any country that wishes to profiteer off the world's resources. Let's see: -it is revealed that Dick Cheney and his neocons had devised a plan to attack Iraq long before Bush even took office -while war preparations are being are made, the Bush Administration reassures the public that plans are being made to secure the oil fields in Iraq first -the U.S. secures the Ministry of Oil and lets other government buildings be looted shortly after taking Baghdad -now the U.S. is indeed talking about "privatizing" Iraq's oil infrastructure, meaning U.S. oil companies can take over Iraq's oil Not to say this situation will be any worse than it was under Saddam Huessein. But, let's call a spade a spade, this war was all about OIL!
