I like that (http://users.rcn.com/bulrich.dnai/sipics/pageColourMod.gif) a lot. It looks good at first then grows on you. The yellow stuff never had a chance to bother me since I use classic exclusively and go straight to my bookmarks bypassing the home page. If SI adopts your scheme I might consider switching but with one reservation, I prefer the fixed width that classic provides.

It seems that a lot of people use the classic interface. I wonder if SI Bob would provide a breakdown of what percentage of users use classic versus the "impoved" (cough...cough) version.
