Gentlemen excuse me for butting in on this board, Im new at this computer stuff so bear with me or tell me to but-out. Ive read the posts but see no mention of Optical Imaging Systems they have a 100 million dollar plant in Northville MI. 50 million came from ARPA and the balance from individual investors.The prime mover of this company is Bill Davidson owner of Guardian Glass, the Detroit Pistons and Auburn Hills Sports Complex. The plant is now in production. Start-up a the new facility has been slow.UofM is training the workers and doing the R&D. At this time they are supplying the military and some of their displays have been installed in the shuttle. As far as I know this is the first U.S plant to mass produce AMLCDs. Any insight you have about this company or it`s technology or lack will be appreciated,Thanks
