Yes talk about confusing short term luck with long term brilliance. I turned a few thousand into 100K plus and would have been over 500K if I had held my final big position rather then chickening out and going back to short and wiping myself out. In retrospect had I turned it into 500K or 2 million it wouldn't have mattered I would have still turned it into 0 eventually because I was gambling and sooner or later you get it wrong.

I am eternally thankful that I did the 0 to 100K to 0 all in the same tax year. That would have been a life long disaster if I hadn't of.
