Nobody has manipulated the price of Vivus stock. There is no cabal of forces out there 'holding' the stock under $3. Even if Bear Stearns committed every bit of leverage it had, (not that they have or would want to) it could not do this. The market does not work that way. If people want to buy, the stock goes up. If people want to sell, stock goes down.

Vlad, you are tireless. You are indefatigable. Have you ever considered committing your considerable efforts to a stock that actually has top-line growth? The market need not be so consistently painful as Vivus.
