Buzz- I would hate to see that happen. Brocade and Ancor are the only pure FC plays going. Brocade hasn't gone public because the value on FC companies is not at a premium yet. I bet not even close.

Switches will have the highest margin , not an easy to duplicate product line,in soon to be one the hottest emerging markets.Ancor has Asic teams, intellectual property that has proven to be worth $'s, a real live working switch that is ready to be shipped. Is that worth only 50 million?

So the reason I would hate to see a merger is that I'd give up the security of a merger with a larger company in order for the chance at a 10 or 20 bagger or more from an independent Ancor. I'd live with that risk anyday.

I mean Ancor's market cap is under 50 million. It just seems the market cap is a joke at this point.

Now in a year or 2 when the large networkers come knocking then I think Ken should consider it for a premium price.

Everything Ken has said about Ancor and his vision of where he sees Ancor heading, leads me to believe that the Home Boys from Minnesota are flat out going for the gold. This is a huge opportunity for these guys. Hopefully they will carry us all for the ride.

In my wildest fantasies we become the Cisco of the SANS market but I'll wait on that one for awhile.
