I really have not seen Nokia coming up with much of anything quickly over the past few years. With all their resources they could not come up with a credible software alternative to IOS in half a decade.... Now they have lost control of their destiny and at best will be reduced to slugging it out with bigger and better financed rivals....

PS - Kinda reminds me of HPQ, lots of resources and brainpower, but perhaps as with NOK, a critical 'lack of direction'...
