Andreas,

What is Leland Wilson's definition of "significant"????

Is significant more than $2M in international sales? $4M? $6M? I don't know. But I do know he doesn't know the meaning of "significant" as demonstrated in this December 17, 1998 press release:

biz.yahoo.com

Note that Leland Wilson says, "Although we are not prepared at this time to announce a partner, we have made SIGNIFICANT progress in these negotiations."

So if Leland knows the meaning of "significant", then WHERE IS OUR DOMESTIC PARTNERING AGREEMENT?

You see, he doesn't even know what he is talking about. Here we are 2 months later and where are the results of our SIGNIFICANT progress?

You mean you actually bought into Vivus thinking that they would sell "significant" quantities of MUSE on their own without a partner???

Shame on you Andreas! I thought you knew better.

The bottom line is that you are correct in saying that at status quo Q1 earnings will be lower than Q4. I can't argue that point but I CAN say this: even so IMHO it does NOT justify a $2.00/share stock. Look at all the internet crap and the valuations etc... and then justify for me the current Vivus price. Better yet, look over my past comparison of Vivus to CEPH and LIPO and tell me how you can justify the current Vivus share price based on comparitible valuations!
