Not to be picky, but Intel actually has an 80% market share for its market. Competitors AMD and CYRIX and MOTOROLA have the rest. Intel's sales may be just 8% of the total market for all Semi's including DRAMs SRAM, ASICs...etc.
AMAT's stock started to come down 7-9 months before they finally admitted to an industry downturn, if the recovery is in mid-97 perhaps the stock will start to move upward in early '97...
