Jay, I again thank you on behalf of all of those on this thread for your witty and insightful comments from an
Asian perspective. Greenspan is on Bubblevision this morning expressing his worries about govt debt in mortgages etc. Also sees the day by as early as 2006 when no national US debt instuments like T-bills etc, if I understood him correctly...In your esteemed opinion, what in the hell do we do over here if we have our funds
in mostly short term treasuries and those things go away? Where to put money safely. I am old enought to remember an entirely different scenario when gold hit $800/oz and the Hunt brothers went tits up
playing with silver. I do not trust this market, the NAZ at pe of 100, CSCO, INTC, etc, OR GE at pe of~ 40.
Land is overpriced everywhere in this country anyone would want to live. I saw your own allottments of assetts
a few posts of yours back, but are you still comfortable with that?
If US govt is in hock for fragile mortgages and derivatives are run amuck in all our major financial majors ,
what the F*** do we do as a longterm strategy. Basic premise of mine...S**T happens, be ready.
Thanks, Jim Black
