Edwin,

Being a long-term bull (11/94) I at first was a tad nervous, but after remembering what Iomega has and what Nomai doesn't have I'm less concerned.

1. Iomega has a huge head start worldwide.
2. Iomega has an installed base established that they can protect with good promotional marketing.
3. Nomai isn't large enough to pose a significant threat
4. Iomega will most likely tweak future designs to ensure the razor/blade model remains intact.

As far as the earnings season, I'm not doing a thing. This report should be good, and I'm even thinking a mild surprise on the positive side.

But, you couldn't rip my shares out of my cold dead hands as we start to get ready for the "Big Daddy" of all trade shows. IMO we will see:

1. Iomega introduce working models of a higher capacity n-hand device.
2. A new Zip. I don't want to put a guess on MB because I think Iomeg may add a marketing spin to this by developing a "Education Zip" or a SO/HO Zip, with disks that come with bundled software that they've licensed from some cool third party developer.
3. We've already seen the Jaz2 announcement
4. Ditto Max 10GB is coming
5. I suspect that Iomega is about to unleash a huge marketing campaign behind all their products heading into the holiday season.

good luck from a bull-headed bull who has held for almost three years.
