Although I suppose the tipster could be a lover of traditional opera taking it into his own hands to protect Mozart from such sacrilege.

Your remark about music and sacrilege reminded me of my latest musical adventure, Radio Hanukkah. It's about the time of the year when you can't tune in any radio station without hearing Christmas music and when I'm getting pretty tired of it so, for a change of pace, I gave Radio Hanukkah, a new offering on XM, a try. Of course, the music was all unfamiliar to me except for Adam Sandler's song.

This morning on my way to the pool I heard a rap piece about eating latkes and getting naked and a variation on the dreidel song about getting Christians to sing it. Each had me laughing, as much as I can muster a laugh at six in the morning, that is. And thinking about how nice it is to have a sense of humor about one's culture.
