I don't know about that, Web Mister.

Apparently there is significant institutional buying.

I am in at 26, and just waiting for confirming research to redouble my position. This management team announced some startling deals last week.

The big risks that I would like to take out before investing some serious money in this are...

1) Quality of management team.
2) Whether or not IMGX has an unfair, sustainable competitive advantage, (or at least a virtually insurmountable first mover advantage) in this sector.
3) Is this an industry which is ripe for movement to the internet model?

If I get favorable answers to all three questions, then, IMHO, IMGX is potentially a $5 Billion dollar company.

As you contemplate a short position, remember that many companies do not make it on to the radar screens of institutional investors until they hit a market cap of $500M, and an even larger crowd won't look at anything under $1B due to concerns about liquidity. As best I can discern, as of 11.6.99, only a couple analysts (one of them Prudential) were following this company.

So long as you are protecting yourself with stops, good luck with your short position.

Best Regards,
Tom D
