Interesting. Your BS Meter was right on target at the airport, saving you $$$. I spoke with him on the phone, much harder to decipher, but I guess he would not have told me he was a serial scammer looking to bilk folks out of their hard-earned $.

I guess the SEC didn't do much but slap his wrist in 2001. Some folks on the Raging Bull board were talking about helping the SEC a year or so but I have to move on and deal with current investments; past bad judgement is a learning experience. You believe what you want to sometimes; the mixed talk on the web should have been an alert (I'm not sure we even had Google back then.) I actually emailed Krause later one time about how I thought he was a crook who should be in jail. He acknowledged as much, pretty safe to say in an IM, I guess.

The only other person who conned me out of (much less $) also fooled a U.S. Congressman, Canadian lawmaker, his own vice-president, several network reporters, and countless other investors, one who suicided after mortgaging his house to buy the stock. A truly evil and cunning man who has also evaded punishment. Interestingly, he had the same pattern of rolling into new stock scams sequentially (different suckers no doubt!!). The stock is now traded as HPON for subpenny.

You can't trust most of what you see online and probably even few folks in person. Even the Secret Service is right only barely above 50% of the time in detecting liars and studies suggest that they are probably the best.

Maybe you should consult to them!
