i didn't expect a response but it's appreciated and informative. thanks.

there are many ways to look at the future... some are helpful, some are
not, but all of them are illusory. abuelita puts it into a useful perspective
when she asks, "What are you going to do?" i would just change it to
present tense and ask, "What are you doing about it -- NOW?"

i agree with your thought about S.I. threads not being the best venue
for this topic. the original focus of siliconinvestor.com is financial investment
education and growth analysis. stopping the growth seems anti-life. there
are some advanced, scientific minds here but for the majority, even quantum
physics is not understood or recognized. that's the reason i offered the link to
"nature bats last" where there's more science-based focus on this volatile topic
of TEOTWAWKI.

as "she" said, i doubt this thread will garner many serious posts, but that can
be changed by YOU... posting many serious posts here. i'll be watching with
great interest. i like to watch... from a "oneness" zen perspective.

science is the study of the nature of the universe. zen is identification with and
participation in, the nature of the universe. from a zen perspective there is no
beginning and there is no end... there is only the infinite NOW.
