I'm bothered by why she won't answer

..what she spouted about being involved before is nonsense

..and I think we are in agreement that the environment and whatever we can do to address what we know is causing deterioration is probably the most critical issue of our era

..her later comment, if that is the most important issue to some..yada..yada..yada

She can't answer as a "concerned grandmother"

..she has to answer as someone who has the power and authority to make a difference and that may require more decisiveness than she is able to muster

..and that is a disqualifier
