I'm sure that statements like that really go over well with the rest of the world.

How would we feel if the leader of China, France, Germany, Great Britain, Japan, or Russia, said something similar...while prancing around in a faux military outfit?

I guess when you think that the USA can go it alone, hubris rises to the surface? Unfortunately events have shown that amiable relationships with major allies is more effective/important than hubris.
