Kevin (Durkin), ALYD does not do things just for the sake of doing them. They obviously expect to need those people all over the country. Keep in mind that when most companies talk about satellite sales offices they are really talking about one person, a phone and a small rented room. Not a major expense, in other words.

When you add up the savings in having to fly salespeople at a moments notice all over the country, then satellite sales offices start to look pretty darn inexpensive. It's also comforting to know the company you are entrusting millions of lines of code to has someone you can be sure to talk to face-to-face in a heartbeat if need be.
