Taiwan market: Smartphone sales slow down in April Steve Shen, DIGITIMES, Taipei [Wednesday 25 May 2016] Sales of handsets, mostly smartphones, in the Taiwan market totaled 650,000 units in April, decreasing 2.9% from the previous month, according to data compiled by local retail channels.
Samsung Electronics continued to lead as the top smartphone vendor in the local market in April in terms of sales volume, followed by Apple, HTC, Asustek Computer, Sony Mobile Communications, Oppo, Taiwan Mobile, InFocus, LG Electronics and Xiaomi Technology, the data showed.
The top-five vendors in terms of sales value in the month were Apple, Samsung, HTC, Sony Mobile and Asustek.
The top-10 best-selling models for the month were the Samsung Galaxy J7, HTC Desire 728 dual-SIM, Apple iPhone 6S 64GB, Apple iPhone 6S Plus 64GB, Asustek ZenFone 2 Laser ZE500KL, Oppo F1, Samsung Galaxy J5, Samsung Galaxy Note 5, HTC One X9 dual-SIM 32GB and HTC Desire 530. o~~~ O |
