<How exactly will Cisco benefit from this joint development of ADS? It's obvious what MSFT has to gain, but it seems that Cisco is providing the knowledge for little gain. Please, someone enlighten me. Tell me I'm wrong. What is Cisco gaining?> Not gaining but probably losing. Note that MSFT will love to get a piece of that great margin networking business. WIN NT 5.0 is make to support many networking features. For small to medium businesses, NT 5.0 can support most of the networking needs eliminating the need for Routers.
