Valentine's Day ~ The Path ~ Hey, darlin' come closer the world grows colder the sun has disappeared a voice in the distance beckons us to follow past the stars past frozen Jupiter to the other side of the world where the hidden sun shines and we run, laughing, into the fire so what do we expect to find on this blacktop highway at dawn with Orien on our left fading in the morning light there's a truckstop up ahead it's time for coffee and cigarettes we'll play the jukebox dance for the truckers and be on the road again we'll find a shady grove sleep the sun away rise with the moon and follow her song into the night where we're going only the stars know for sure when Venus is within our reach we'll know we've found a home for a month or two maybe more till we hear her sing with the full moon rising calling us to follow again jp
