Kashyap, I believe there may be a little additional bit of confusion here about the USDA approval.

It is my understanding that USDA approval is ONLY needed when the product is to be used for or around FOOD or FOOD PROCESSING. That would mean situations like the meat processing applications I've seen mentioned. Or when the product would come into contact with food like at a fast food restaurant. There are thousands of uses for Microsafe that would not need this kind of approval. I'd also think that the vet usages would be ok without USDA approval as long as the animals weren't used as food, I'm not too confident about this tho.

The 'rumor' was started probably by NVID themselves when they issued a press release stating they were going after USDA approval and they believed they had a fast track for getting approval (I don't have that release in front of me, but it was at least 2 months ago). It would be nice to have a clarification of that press release (as to why things have been delayed), but that would probably drive the price down and I'm not too thrilled by that concept (except I could average down even more!).

I'm believing in the long term here.
Mitch
