I recently ordered 5 computers and 5 monitors on a Friday, and they came on Saturday Delivary. Thankfully my shipping department was open, because I had not specified weekend delivary, just next day, hoping to see it Monday. Anyway, you may consider spreading the wealth around. I'm ordering now from nearly a dozen different online vendors. None of them are perfect, but some are better then others, and each has their strengths and weaknesses. I guess my only beef with outpost is how you tend to get used to their reliabilty to the point that when they screw up, it's painful. In my case, it was several instances where the site showed an item in stock and ready to ship, and I did not get anything the next day, and worse yet, no timely notification of the delaying problem. In each case I had to call them, only to find out the item was in fact not available. Don't get me wrong, other vendors have the same problem. It's just that when you expect it overnight, you DON'T expect to hear about the problem the next day, rather you'd hope to hear about a snag the SAME day so you have the opportunity to decide either to wait or go with another vendor who may be able to deliver tomorrow. I will conceed that few vendors are able to process and ship an item the same day as COOL can, and they deserve recognition for that, at the very least. |
