I dropped AOL in November and they are still charging me. They have THE worst customer service on the face of the earth in my opinion. In the 6 months prior to quitting, the service, as far as speed and screw ups, had improved over what it had been, somewhat. But in 1994 when I joined, it was SOP to log on, take forever to get to a chat room, get to the room and get bumped out. You spent a lot of time being "frozen, trying to log on, or getting bumped. I requested credit about 1 time in 10 that it happened to me...because it was too frustrating to ask every single time. I was refused credit once by E Mail so I called to ask why. Know what the answer was????? You have asked for creidt too many times!!!! Too many times????? Excuuuuuse me????I told that little shit when they quit having technical problems THEN and only THEN would I quit asking for credit. I was paying $400-500.00 a month at that time. Know what Mr. S told me then??? He said if you don't like it you can quit. Great way to handle a heavy user don't you think ? I love AT &T service and now I pay AOL $7.95 a month. (Well, thats in addition to the account they won't quit charging me for)

On their stock bulletin boards, Mike Mcking, contractor for Investors Network randomly and capriciously removes posts, not for profanity but for whimsy. He says that the 1st ammendment rights do not apply on his bulletin boards. Outrageous! It is as if he takes a position in a stock and controls the flow of info. tsk tsk
