I don't think they can distribute these funds to shareholders.

What they do is put some money into a venture capital fund. which invests in a company and owns some of their shares. The fund then might make money and give CMGI some of it. These funds might have other investors who also own some beneficial interests. The fund manager in most cases own more beneficial interests than CMGI. You might consider these funds as partnership as against sole proprietary ownership. They are not corporations.

But I think DW is still the venture capital fund manager, but not working for CMGI as chairman of the board of directors anymore.

I would look forward to more focus on supply chain software now that we know some of their customers such as HPQ. The latest two customers added 95 million dollars to the revenue for one year. They might pick up some more Asian customers at the Oct 16 meeting in Asia.
