Info I got from someone who attended the annual meeting is that AXC is still allocating a good and healthy percentage to R&D, without it affecting the bottom line adversely. Will need to check next 10Q to see if this is still holding true. Anyway, Keepered Media and patents related to HDTV are only but a small amount of their intellectual holdings; they are pretty secretive about the rest. I believe they hold over 350 patents.
