On holding stock over night...

Rules will always be broken, not with reckless abandon, but with (hopefully) thoughtful consideration. Now I admit I have had level 2 quotes for less than two weeks, but when inca was flashing huge bid sizes on danky just before the close yesterday I felt very sure that one of two things were happening:

Either I was seeing the tell tale signs of a GAPPA

Or I was being totally manipulated and suckered in for a down gap.

Looking at the performance of the day, yesterday, with the bounce in the fourteens and seeing the very large bid size at 13, 13 1/16 it clicked for me and I bought in and held over night and didn't lose sleep.

If the stock wasn't already beaten down over 50% and if it didn't have earnings and so on...

I think it is safest to not hold positions over nite, but for me this one made sense.
