Well soon they might have a new piece of tech that lets them steal Ford, Audi, Volkswagen, and many other vehicles: a Flipper Zero running custom tools. There has been some misguided hype around how the Flipper Zero might be used for this. But now it's happening. I spoke to a hacker who made the new tool and is selling it. Most importantly, the tech is starting to leak out and soon could be in the hands of many more thieves. “Kia Boys will be Flipper Boys by 2026,” one person I spoke to said.
