Its more apparent that CMGI has a supply chain software that can benefit their customers. So it is just putting one foot in front of the other to land more non-competing customers.

They also have a unique cash management process @Venture. Instead of doing what others do by putting surplus cash in overnight loans raising interest income. CMGI invests wisely into interests of venture capitalists. This gives them a reward much higher than interest rates alone. The risk of technology investment are shared in stages. Each stage, the owner of the original investor can have rewards from other venture capitalists late in coming into the venture. And they help each other to sell the venture to a big customer or sell to the public.

It is wild and woolly, but only if you don't know any venture capitalists. Today, they all like shared risks and rewards, some is better than none?
