Qualcomm Completes Acquisition of Alphawave Ahead of Schedule

06:24 AM EST, 12/18/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Qualcomm (QCOM) said Thursday it has completed the acquisition of Alphawave IP roughly a quarter ahead of schedule.

In June, Qualcomm agreed to acquire Alphawave for 1.83 British pounds ($2.48) per share in a deal valuing the UK semiconductor company at about $2.4 billion.

Alphawave Chief Executive and co-Founder Tony Pialis will lead Qualcomm's data center business, the company said.
