It is a very narrow slice of Islam that is so twisted as to pose a real threat to us. Most could give a shit, they just want to live in peace That's a logical thought, especially for a country like Afghanistan which has seen war nearly continuously for 20 years. Why shouldn't we believe that these guys are saying "Why shouldn't we give up this OBL guy and his Arab brothers and go home to the wife and family. Sure he helped fight the Soviets, but he is just one guy and now he is making us suffer..." OTOH they have little entertainment and possibly War is their MTV.
