Private money also comes with strings attached. It is often said that government money comes with strings attached. If you have been reading the expose' in the Seattle Times this week concerning the Hutchinson Cancer treatment clinic, you know that private investment money in public health care has corrupted the delivery of quality health care and resulted in ethical compromises in the delivery of health care to terminally ill patients at a time when the highest degree of integrity should be required. I don't expect many Bushies to read those articles. They like to stay uninformed so they can hold onto their biased way of looking at the world.
