I have a question for anyone who uses a direct execution system. Where/how can you route a market sell order on a stock in a falling market? Select net accepts limit orders and doesn't have to execute so you are left chasing the bid down. With Island, if you put anything other than the bid as a low limit, it will execute at the low limit. If you put the bid, you're probably left chasing the bid down after you cancel and re-enter lower. SOES only works sometimes and for only the tier size. How can I liquidate immediately at market if I've got to get out??? Watley sucks for this. I started trying to get out of IMCL at 15-1/4 this morning. Couldn't, so called their desk. They were no better. 2 minutes after I give order market is 14-3/4. 1 more minute 14-1/2. Broker comes back on line and tells me my fill is 14-1/2. He wasn't worth a crap either. Their "great trader" chased the bid down. I've got to remedy this now. That was very costly and I seem to be stuck. Help?
