It is amazing that two persons can look at the same data and spin it two different ways.

But ya know nowhere did I see gross revenue discussed, just unit sales and I think that there are larger PCs that are included in the numbers that might be better classed as servers.

Having said all that, it did strike me that the way the numbers were presented and slanted towards Dell in the very first release, did seem a little like Sunw's server statistics.

Sunw always seemed to have cut the numbers to show they were the biggest and the fastest by planing with the unix server numbers.

And, if memory serves, Dell once used their off regular quarter reporting to sckew the numbers in there favor. This sort of thing, if true, where the company uses off regular time frames and plays with the announcements, comes back to haunt them.
