Neil- First, good to hear you are promoting FNET. I like to think that your are doing your co-workers a favor more than you are promoting FNET. But of course the two go hand in hand. A proverbial win-win situation.
I think AOL has shot themselves in both feet, at least short term. Huge promotion for subscribers, to please the street, without the hardware/personnel in place to handle it. This of course only succeeds in irritating the hell out of current customers while giving the new subscribers a free 50 hour taste which turns out to be bittersweet. Great when you get on and stay on, but???
So if I drag this out long enough, but not too long, I may be 2000. Don't care bout that. I want my fifteen minutes of fame to happen at the bank.
Received a mail promo today, endorsed by a former candidate for President of the USA. Basically it touts the new revolution in telecommunications and OC and bandwidths, etc. Helps you find the gems, discard the dogs, etc. Only $300 bucks for 12 monthly issues. If anyone wants the source and address just e-mail me.
Perfect timing and here goes 2000.
Nice evening, better news to come I believe.
