I will say something since Henry only applies EW to the SPX.

If the 2008 is an A, then from that low I would label it differently. The initial move up is either a "1' or an "a" up of an "abc".

Following the high in 2009 there has been a "b" or "2" down. Now ready for "3" or "c" up.

Forgot to add: if this would be a "c" up, then it would complet "B" up from the peak of the market. With "C" down after that.

Just speculating.
