I just read today that Cisco intends to go on an acquisition binge over the next 12 months. They are interested in acquiring 6, maybe more, companies in the networking industry that will add significant value to Cisco's business. Anyone have any idea what companies would be potential targets? Is anybody familiar with Objective Systems Integrators (OSII)? They produce object oriented software for telecommunications networks. OSII appears to have huge growth potential and Cisco already owns an approx 4% - 5% stake in the company. See the fairly short string on Objective Systems Integrators, under "software". Any insight would be appreciated.
