Your view seems too generalized, in addition to being too pessimistic. I would modify it by pointing out that institutional investors seem to be making buy and sell decisions based on short term price movements, up or down. That doesn't mean they ignore data such as improved margins or greater revenues. They just don't have much confidence in the overall market.

That mindset, in turn, seems to be tied to the notion that the new regulations governing public corporations are onerous, unnecessary, and the product of an administration opposed to big business, all of which is discouraging to those who in the past depended on their "right" to do as they pleased, without any government interference.

This mindset, and the results shown in depressed stock prices, such as SNDK, simply tells me that there still is a good buying opportunity for individuals who want to own SNDK or add to their holdings.
