It's not a case of them "wanting" to drive the stock down from $36 to $7...
We were just referring to the fact that when institutions are jumping all over themselves to load up on a stock, it can get out of control going up...then when you have such a large percentage of the stock held by institutions and they realize the stock is way overpriced and they need to get out, they all try to get out at the same time, and they can't help but cause the stock to totally fall apart because they are all trying to sell at the same time...
Small, individual investors can move much quicker than the big institutional elephants....if you only own a few hundred or a few thousand or even 10,000 or 20,000 shares for that matter, you can get out anytime you want to on a fairly liquid stock (don't try to get out of 20,000 PTEC at one time, however), but if you own 1 million shares and want to dump it, with a stock like SYSF, the stock will be about 5 or 10 points lower when you finish selling than it was when you started (assuming the stock started up around 25-35 range)...
