I was told high-end and heavily discounted Canadian light crude gets shipped to the States via a pipeline operated by Pembina (PPL) Pipeline. This pipeline has been upgraded and enhanced while everyone was singing and dancing about Keystone. I understand Keystone will be transporting upgraded heavy oil when it gets completed in 2119. Why the fuss? Canada is blessed to have two powerful and influential children running the show.
