Ron: If I may, before I go off-line... Retrieving the article might be a problem, but I recall only last month reading where China has arranged to have "lawyers and judges" trained here in the U.S. The impression I got was that this is to begin very soon. I am not certain of, and the article did not indicate, the status of the individuals to be trained (e.g. "sitting" judges). Maybe someone else has a line on this. I'm off.
