General Electric (GE) 49.10 +0.19: The Wall Street Journal reports that the Dept. of Justice has approved GE's acquisition of
Honeywell (HON). Honeywell reportedly will divest a helicopter engine manufacturing subsidiary as a condition.

Macromedia (MACR) 26.57 +2.87: -- Update -- On conference call, mgmt adamant on call not to provide guidance. Mgmt keeps
getting pressed during Q&A, but mgmt will not provide any guidance -- not a number and will not even characterize higher or lower
etc...stock trading at 21.

Macromedia (MACR) 26.57 +2.87: -- Update -- On conference call, company explained reduction in gross margin to 89% from 91%
in DecQ. Due to slightly lower sales mix and a bit with Allaire acqusition...Yet another comment on 20% operating margin guidance:
"We're not really providing guidance here." Bottom line, no guidance whatsoever...stock trading at 21.

Macromedia (MACR) 26.57 +2.87: -- Update -- On conference call, mgmt sees long term growth objective of 35%, but this year will
be difficult...operating margin guidance in the past had been around 25%, so guidance mentioned in earlier comment is a reduction. "Don't
think we will get to 20% operating margin this year." was an answer during Q&A session which conflicts with comment during the call.
20% is more of a longer term goal....stock trading at 21.10.

Macromedia (MACR) 26.57 +2.87: -- Update -- On conference call, only guidance given: "over 20% operating income"; declined to be
more specific....stock selling off to $21.

Compuware (CPWR) 11.01 -0.25: -- Update -- Conference call concluded, mgmt positive about forward prospects but the deteriorating
dynamics in its revenue stream are difficult to overlook. Nonetheless, CPWR expects 40-50% EPS growth next year. CPWR +0.14

PacifiCare Hlth (PHSY) 37.39 -0.07: Reports Q1 earnings of $0.39 a share, $0.05 better than the First Call consensus of $0.34, vs
year-ago earnings of $1.94; revenues rose 7.2% to $3.03 mln from a year-ago of $2.83 mln.

HotJobs.com (HOTJ) 5.40 +0.18: Reports Q1 operating loss of $0.16, $0.01 better than consensus. Revenue of $33.6 mln was a
142% increase over $13.9 million for the same period in 2000. Company expects total revenue for Q2 to increase by approximately 38%

never been more excited about a product lineup due to come out than it is today; in calendar year 2002, it anticipates releasing over 31
products, including at least twelve games for PlayStation 2, nine games for GameCube, and ten games for Xbox; promises that products

Asyst Tech (ASYT) 19.12 unch: Reports Q4 earnings of $0.05 a share, $0.22 worse than the Zacks consensus of $0.27, vs year-ago
earnings of $0.34; revenues rose 22.5% to $115.08 mln from a year-ago of $93.96 mln.

Genencor (GCOR) 15.84 +1.85: Reports Q1 earnings of $0.07 a share, $0.06 better than the First Call consensus of $0.01, vs

Peet's Coffee (PEET) 9.53 +0.03: Reports Q1 loss of $0.04 a share, $0.01 better than the First Call consensus of ($0.05); revenues
rose 15.2% to $22.57 mln from a year-ago of $19.58 mln.

Celeritek (CLTK) 13.10 +0.25: Reports Q4 loss of $0.39 a share, $0.29 worse than the First Call consensus of ($0.10), vs year-ago
earnings of $0.01; revenues rose 16.5% to $18.02 mln from a year-ago of $15.47 mln. Company also announces it will reduce workforce
by approximately 30% and institute a 10% pay reduction program for approximately 25% of the employees. Company anticipates revenue
per quarter of between $14 and $15 million.

Caminus (CAMZ) 31.10 -0.44: Reports Q1 earnings of $0.08 a share, $0.01 worse than the First Call consensus of $0.09, vs
year-ago earnings of $0.05. Revenue increased 92% to $16.4 million, compared to $8.5 million for the first quarter of 2000.
