Ummmm... I thought FTEL's 800 number service was "unique to the industry". I've got it on my screen right now in Frank's "Message from the President", dated 1/3/97. Looks like it was unique for a pretty short time. Anyways, "Happy, happy, happy. Joy, joy, joy." This can only be good news. But, seriously, is FutureNet's $19.95 a month a connection like we're used to with our PCs, or does it require that $499 set-top box? If so, what's someone else's take on what that means to us? On a more positive note, I just noticed that ftel.com now has a javascript display that runs in the status box of your browser. Didn't notice that there before.
