So it sounds as if the SEC investigation cloud has picked up more steam recently. I am very surprised that the investigation reportedly started in Fall-2000 and hasn't announced any finds yet. There was obviously something amiss or Lucent would not have ponied up to the SEC to begin with... Is two years a typical time frame for an investigation such as this? I think I remember other more recent investigations that concluded within months.... What's up with this one?
